History of the company
1999 - Construction of Vertex's own factory was started.
2003 - A license to produce pharmaceuticals was taken out; first capsule production line was launched.
2004 - A production line for tablets and ointments was launched.
2005 - A license was obtained from the Russian health industry regulator (Roszdravnadzor), attesting that pharmaceuticals are produced in conformity with the license requirements and the GOST R 52 249-2004 standard "Good Manufacturing Practice for Medicinal Products" (GMP).

2008 - Vertex’s showings in the 1st quarter placed it as:
- 1st among Russian pharmaceuticals producers by growth rate (2007 vs 2006);
- 8th most influential Russian manufacturing company by aggregate index;
- 21st by sales among domestic pharmaceuticals producers.
